Buckles Lake Road (#663) can be accessed driving south of Pagosa about fifteen miles down Hwy 84. Buckles Lake Road is a scenic gravel road for any vehicle and has some great views into Spring Creek Valley and along the road to the trailhead. It's only a short hike to the lake.
